During these uncertain times, how can we help?

SNAP’s mission is to give children with physical and/or developmental challenges the chance to play, exercise, make friends, have fun, and build confidence and independence. At SNAP all children are swimmers. We believe that by utilizing volunteers from our community we help create awareness, foster acceptance, create opportunities for the future and enrich the fabric of our community for children (and ultimately adults) with special needs.
Volunteer "helpers" are paired with swimmers and work to help meet their swimmer's needs. Volunteers swim weekly during the school year and commit for at least one semester. Training is provided. You must be very comfortable in the water (strong swimming skills are preferred). You must be willing to learn, enjoy children, and have a warm smile. Working with our swimmers will become the highlight of your week! : )
