Mission Statement

Since our founding in 1870, The University of Akron has been committed to be in partnership with our community, region and beyond as part of our mission of teaching, learning and service. E. J. Thomas Hall provides a vital venue for achieving these goals.

Description

A jewel in the city, E. J. Thomas Hall provides the University of Akron with one of the country's finest concert facilities. It has been called one of the most beautiful and flexible performance halls in the world by New York Times architectural critic Ada Huxtable. Bringing world class entertainment through concerts, Akron Symphony Orchestra and Tuesday Musical performances as well as UA student concerts, and community events, E. J. Thomas serves Akron.
