Mission Statement

The premier venue for established and emerging folk artists, dedicated to preserving and documenting the tradition of American folk music. Committed to supporting the community of artists and audiences through performances, lessons, workshops and publications for cultural and arts education. It embraces diverse traditions.

Description

Acoustic performances 7 nights a week including traditional and cntemporary folk, poetry and storytelling. Open Mike nights, nurturing new artists, Schoolof music, teaching numerouis folk instruments for students at all levels. The Archive Project, collecting, preserving, cataloging regional folk arts from the club's 40 year history. Culture for Kids; a muti-cultural free childrens progam (1x a month) of different traditional music, arts and foods: hands on.
