NEWMAN REGIONAL HEALTH AUXILIARY

Description

For over 60 years the volunteers of the Newman regional Health Auxiliary have worked together to provide a variety of services to benefit the hospital and patients. funds raised by various projects purchase needed hospital equipment, furnishings, and scholarships for nursing and other healthcare students.

Auxiliary volunteers include both men and women over the age of 18 and are members of the Newman Regional Health Auxiliary organization. Membership dues are $10 annually. A one time fee of $50 gives you a lifetime membership.

There are many interesting and fulfilling assignments for volunteers at Newman Regional Health. Here are some possibilities:

Floor Work - Sorting and delivering mail throughout the hospital
Baking for the Snack Bar
Bloodmobile- Assisting with refreshments and serving donors.
Working in the snack bar
Working in the gift shoppe
Information Desks- Greeting and giving information and directions to patients, visitors and families in one of four locations throughout the hospital.
