To provide opportunities for Minnesota adults to acquire basic education skills: a) necessary for literate functioning and meeting their responsibilities with family and community, b) to benefit from post-secondary and job training programs, c) to achieve high school equivalency, and d) to achieve self-sufficiency.

Description

Adult Basic Education is a program which offers free and confidential tutoring for adults who would like to improve skills in reading, writing, math, computers and English as a Second Language. We offer tutoring for adults to prepare for GED testing, the driver's test, and to prepare to college and tech courses. Adult Basic Education provides opportunities for adults to practice, learn from, and master the skills and strategies required for responsible citizenship, productive employment and self-sufficiency.
