Mission: The Fitz Center for Leadership in Community cultivates servant leaders and just communities through reciprocal partnerships, engaged learning and scholarship, and community building. Description

Dayton Corps is an AmeriCorps program through ServeOhio, administered by the University of Dayton Fitz Center for Leadership in Community. In Dayton Corps, members work with local non-profits in three areas: neighborhood leadership development, housing insecurity and employment, and education. Members will also participate in weekly member trainings and statewide AmeriCorps trainings and events. Both UD students and other community members are encouraged to apply. Stipends for living expenses are available, and members may be eligible for an AmeriCorps education award upon completion of their term of service.
