Wildfires are devastating communities across California, causing more than 300,000 people to evacuate their homes and threatening many more. The Camp Fire in Northern California -- one of three blazing across the state -- is the most destructive in state history. We want to ensure that, if you are in an affected community, you find access to shelter. And if you are looking to help with disaster relief efforts, you know the most effective ways to contribute.
We make it our mission to guide job seekers from all walks of life in their individual search for a new job or career and connect them to local employers for the benefit of all.
Since 1998, the Tri-Valley One-Stop (TVOS) Career Center has connected employers with qualified, skilled talent and job seekers with employment and career development opportunities. We’ve worked through economic expansions and contractions; high unemployment and low. Guided by the Workforce Investment and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and its previous iterations, we’ve helped thousands of job seekers find their next career while, at the same time, helping businesses maintain and expand their businesses with the right employees. Our goal is to be an employment match-maker.
