Mission Statement

All human beings should be respected and loved, as each person is special and deserving of a chance to live life to the fullest. We help those who have fallen to pick themselves up to gain independence.

Ensuring that families will overcome their struggles and giving them the necessary tools and skills to succeed is our ultimate goal. At the Astegos Day Center will be providing them skills on how to interview, build their resume, and teach them how to apply for housings. Also, we will offer tutoring for kids who are struggling in school and building them with life skills. Our goal isn’t to do everything for them, but rather equip them to do it on their own. To let the homeless know we are here to walk alongside of them and guide them on their journey. We want them to know there is a light at the end of the tunnels and that homeless doesn’t define them as a person it just describes their current situation.
