Mission Statement
White Apple Institute is a veteran-operated nonprofit 501(c)(3) dedicated to CONNECTING, EDUCATING, and SUPPORTING Underserved, At-Risk men and women, priority Veterans and their family members from all branches of service inclusive of Reservists and National Guard) with disabilities (e.g. emotional, learning, mental, and invisible), with RESOURCES in the areas of independent living, vocational rehabilitation, basic needs, higher education and workforce development.
Description
Students and Veterans volunteer time to produce a DIFferently-Abled Network Meeting, an outreach method used to encourage thousands to RESTORE hope; Complete GOALS in higher education for WORKFORCE SUCCESS, and; MANAGE emotional and financial CRISES to PREVENT DROPOUT/BURNOUT from SCHOOL, WORK, and LIFE! Educators, employers, counselors, social workers, and other health care professionals join Dr. Danita Applewhite and share encouraging and valuable information. We CONNECT Consumers to Resources, We EDUCATE through ASK DR. APPLEwhite Program, and SUPPORT them with Mentorships to ensure stability, We are changing the perception of "disabled" to "differently-abled"!
