Mission Statement

The AARP Tax-Aide Program provides free tax assistance to anyone, but our focus is on low income elderly people.

Description

IRS-certified volunteers provide free assistance and basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals at community locations across the nation. The IRS enters into agreements with private or non-governmental public non-profit agencies and organizations, which will provide training and technical assistance to volunteers who provide free tax counseling services.
