Mission Statement

To give back a day without worry, a day without the normal burdens that many take for granted. The December 5th Fund creates memories that last a lifetime, long after the burden of cancer is gone.

Description

The December 5th Fund provides families afflicted with cancer a strategically planned out day to strengthen family values, while also offering in-home maintenance services for the family, such as housecleaning, minor home repairs, laundry, and lawn care.

OUR GOAL IS TO GIVE FAMILIES DEALING WITH CANCER ONE GREAT DAY.

A day to be a family is something that we take for granted. Our passionate and caring team will meticulously plan out a day of small memorable moments for a family dealing with cancer that will prove to be nothing short of amazing.

While the family is out enjoying their day, our team of local volunteers and businesses across the city of St. Louis will make sure the family comes home to a pleasant and stress-free surprise. It could be a perfectly manicured lawn, a spotless home, or one of many small household burdens that turn into mountains when you’re trying to provide care for someone dealing with cancer.
