Mission Statement

The Mission of the St. Vincent de Paul Bread for Life Community Food Pantry is to provide compassion and support to individuals in need of food assistance, regardless of race, origin, religion or gender. Bread for Life offers compassion and dignity to every person coming through the doors by engaging, listening, sharing, and loving. Our hope is that ALL may feel the love that God has for them.

Description

Bread for Life Community Food Pantry is an outreach ecumenical ministry of St. Vincent de Paul of Bardstown and Nelson County and part of St. Joseph Parish. It is supported by numerous civic organizations, schools, companies, and religious organizations - of many different faiths - throughout the year. We provide food assistance to over 600 households and distribute more than 40,000 pounds of food each month.
