Mission Statement

South Coast Family Harbor is a non-profit organization that helps prevent child abuse and neglect by using individualized community supports to strengthen high-risk families and keep children safe, healthy and ready to learn. Our vision is to help support all parents in overcoming life's challenges and help provide safe, nurturing homes for their children.

Description

The main characteristics of a Relief Nursery is (1) respect and flexibility in meeting families' immediate needs, and long term goals (2) therapeutic early childhood classrooms for children 0-6, with a high ratio of adults to each child
(3)interwoven services and partnerships between families, staff and other services provided through nurturing home visiting and on site participation.
