Mission Statement

The National Society of Professional Engineers - Colorado Chapter Education Foundation (PEC-EF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, created as a separate legal entity to administer funds to support NSPE-CO's State and Affiliated chapters educational activities. The foundation was formed in 1990 to support engineering and scientific educational activities of the National Society of Professional Engineers - Colorado. These activities include Bridge Building for high school students, MATHCOUNTS for middle school students, and other educational programs.

Description

The Foundation maintains separate accounting for each activity and assures contributions are spent on the activity specified by the donor. The Foundation's trustees manage the funds to receive the highest return within prudent limits of fiscal responsibility. Distribution of money from general accounts and investments are periodically made to the active educational program accounts by the Trustees.
