The Kanawha State Forest Foundation exists to promote, preserve and protect Kanawha State Forest for recreation, nature study and a variety of outdoor experiences.

Description

A group of volunteers with diverse backgrounds and interests who donate time and money to extend the work of the original CCC laborers who were responsible for the existence of this wonderful resource.

Our volunteer leader was extremely prepared, helpful and although we were battling some persistent bee's in the area, she made the experience unforgettable and enjoyable.
