Mission Statement

The mission of the WRC is to promote the empowerment of women to lead self-directed lives, to realize their economic and educational viability, and to strengthen their participation in the community.

Description

The WRC is available to all women in Guilford County ages 18 and over. It offers peer counceling, attorney hotline (15 minutes), computers and classes, database of all resources available in the area, and more. It is runn by the four founding women and volunteers. 5000 women plus are helped each year by the center.
