Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide financial assistance for spay/neuter, housing, fencing, food and Animal Welfare programs for companion animals and their families in Davidson County NC. We accomplished this like giving a "hand up" instead of a handout.

Description

Our work is supported entirely by donations and fundraisers. DCAA is recognized by the state of North Carolina as a nonprofit organization. Anyone is welcome to join the team and support our mission! We believed that education coupled with financial assistance where needed will stem the overpopulation of unwanted animals. This will lead to lower intake numbers at our County's Public Animal Shelter.
