Mission Statement

The mission of Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Palm Beach County, Inc. is to improve birth outcomes and promote healthy families by providing access to care, education and support to those facing the physical, emotional, economic and social challenges of pregnancy and infant care.

Description

Our goal is for women to enter prenatal care in the first trimester of their pregnancy so that their babies are born healthy. Of the more than 14,000 babies born in Palm Beach County each year, HMHB has touch points with 65% of the moms who deliver them through programs including access to care, mentoring for teen mothers, CenteringPregnancy, maternal mental health peer support groups, community educational workshops and Basics4Babies - our emergency pantry for infants.
