Our aim
We believe that education is the key for development in Vietnam, therefore, we aim to create an open and fair learning enviroment for all communities regardless economic status. Everest provides some free classes and low-priced English classes for all ages in the rural areas of Hanoi. Our priority is to help students to overcome their fear of learning English and to achieve their dream of communicating with foreigners. We also help to empower the local people of Me Linh through enable them the opportunity of getting a good job in an English speaking environment. We believe that your contribution can fuel these aims, bring more benefits to our community and society.
You will
- Ideally be able to commit to volunteer for 3 weeks or more.
- Lead English lessons with the help of Vietnamese teaching assistant.
We will
-Prepare resources such as flashcards, audio clips, textbooks, handouts,etc.
-Support you with teaching and translating during the lesson.
Working hours
-Maximum 20 hours a week
-2 days off a week.
Accommodation and food
-shared room/private room for couple.
-2 meals/day.
