Mission Statement

The mission of North Suburban Special Olympics(NSSO) is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.

Description

NSSO is a local agency of Special Olympics Wisconsin. Athletes involved are from the northern suburbs of Milwaukee county and southern Ozaukee county.

We are now looking for volunteers to assist with Fall sports of bowling and volleyball. Bowling is on Saturday's 9:30 -11:30 am at Brown Deer Lanes. Volleyball practice is held at the Milwaukee Safety Academy on Monday and Wednesday 6:30 - 8 pm.

First Bowling Practice Saturday, August 25, 2018 - Brown Deer Lanes First Volleyball Practices (T) Monday, August 27, 2018 and Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at the Milwaukee Safety Academy.
