Whether you are a retired senior, student looking for service hours, or anyone who has a heart for helping people and sharing God's love... we can use you! We have several different types of volunteer opportunities available that are both ongoing and throughout the Tampa Bay area. These include: Event Volunteer, Delivery Person and B4C Representative. Below is a description of each and you can certainly do more than one Event Volunteer - B4C participates in many different kinds of events and we need people to staff our table. Among these are outreach events, fundraisers, vendor fairs, festivals, home shows, car shows, etc... You simply watch over the table, tell people about what we do, how they can help and also hand out literature about us and free scriptural material. Delivery Person - If you have a vehicle that can transport bicycles, either a truck, van or car with a bike rack, then we need your help. This entails picking up donated bikes and also delivering ride-ready bikes to the many agencies who depend on us to supply bikes for their clients in need. B4C Representative - If you enjoy interacting with other business and non-profit professionals, then this may be the opportunity for you. B4C needs representatives to serve on the local Chambers Of Commerce in areas where we work as well as attend certain resource meetings and groups we belong to. This is critical to our mission of getting the word out to these communities through the relationships we build within the Chamber and other interactions. There may also be times when you have the opportunity to speak on our behalf about the work we do both at the Chamber and other events and meetings we participate in. Looking for Christian volunteers to assist with pickups and dropoffs of bikes!

Bikes For Christ is in need of a few Christian volunteers to do pickups and dropoffs of donated bicycles. This means interacting both with those who donate and those who receive a bicycle or the organization that receives it on behalf of their client. With each bike we give out a Bible or some other type of Scriptural text goes with it in hopes that the recipient will come to know Christ and begin to improve their life. Our clients include the homeless, needy, underprivileged kids and veterans who are trying to re-establish themselves. The reason we need Christian volunteers is because there may be chance to witness and share your faith both with the person you are picking up the bike from and the client who you are dropping it off with. We need volunteers who are strong in their Biblical beliefs and not afraid to speak the Gospel truth.

Personal Assistant Needed

Bikes For Christ needs a personal volunteer assistance to help with an assortment of things. This includes tasks related to the following: fundraising, events, online research, follow ups (by both email or phone), etc. You can work remotely from home, but need to be in our loca area so make communication easier and meeting in person if needed.

Description

Bikes For Christ was started in 2016 with a commitment to helping those in need while also sharing the love of God. Our organization has quickly grown to encompass providing transportation across Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk and Pasco Counties with a mission to one day be nationwide. By showing God's love through providing bicycles for those in need, we hope to lead them to a life in His eternal kingdom.
