I had an amazing time volunteering with this organization for Thanksgiving helping feed and clothe those in need. This organization is run by artists who have a passion of making the world a better place.. and it clearly shows! I look forward to helping again at their holiday party in December and kids art camps in the future. Thank you A Very Rare Shop for all that you do!!!

This is an organization run by artists. The event held successfully however need improvement on certain aspects. 1) no clear instructions for volunteer. We just sort of look around and see what to do. First timer volunteer would be really lost. 2) Did not prepare enough serving utensils, and also not enough bags for the homeless for taking the donations. 3) It's a good idea to pack food, water and bring clothes to pass around the area by driving since some homeless just don't want to walk too far or they are sick and can't walk too far. Well done on this. 4) more promotions of the event should be passed around so the homeless knows about this earlier and can make plans. 5) People that come by and drop off the donations should be before the event but not during so everything can be ready for the homeless to choose from, instead of putting up the later-come donation by the end of the event. Execution improvement is in need, however, the intention is very well.
