At A Very Rare Shop, we’re focused on supporting individual’s artistic intentions.. that’s why we have produced a space in LA that is entirely devoted to creative expression. By offering free and donation-based educational classes to children and adults, we’re providing a platform for individuals to study, develop and share their art. Through our dedication to community building and our passion for art, we remain committed to achieving our vision of encouraging aspiring artists
A Very Rare Shop was born out of a strong desire to empower aspiring artists and encourage sustainable collaborations. We began this endeavor in Columbus, OH in 2014 and since then, our unique platform has grown to offer creatives the ability to reach a diverse demographic on a global scale.
Today, we continue to look for new ways of developing our Los Angeles-based factory to support your dreams. Whether you're passionate about music production, visual arts, holistic health, graphic design or yoga/fitness, our wide selection of exceptional classes is sure to meet your needs.
I had an amazing time volunteering with this organization for Thanksgiving helping feed and clothe those in need. This organization is run by artists who have a passion of making the world a better place.. and it clearly shows! I look forward to helping again at their holiday party in December and kids art camps in the future. Thank you A Very Rare Shop for all that you do!!!
This is an organization run by artists. The event held successfully however need improvement on certain aspects. 1) no clear instructions for volunteer. We just sort of look around and see what to do. First timer volunteer would be really lost. 2) Did not prepare enough serving utensils, and also not enough bags for the homeless for taking the donations. 3) It's a good idea to pack food, water and bring clothes to pass around the area by driving since some homeless just don't want to walk too far or they are sick and can't walk too far. Well done on this. 4) more promotions of the event should be passed around so the homeless knows about this earlier and can make plans. 5) People that come by and drop off the donations should be before the event but not during so everything can be ready for the homeless to choose from, instead of putting up the later-come donation by the end of the event. Execution improvement is in need, however, the intention is very well.
anyone can tell me how to reach the coordinator of this volunteer opportunity? I called and sent email but haven't got any feedback. I am very interested in this opportunity. please contact me: email@example.com
