Arrive Ministries

Description

Arrive Ministries (previously World Relief Minnesota) is a Christian non-profit organization. As an affiliate of World Relief, which has been designated a resettlement agency by the State Department, we meet newly arriving refugees at the airport and then assist them with housing and other tasks during their first days in the U.S.

Arrive Ministries also helps refugees in the Twin Cities by providing refugee social services, employment services, and immigration legal services.

We facilitate opportunities for volunteers to befriend refugees as they assist them with ESL, tutoring, transportation, reading their mail, and social activities. Currently, we're encouraging individuals and small groups (especially church groups) to adopt one refugee family for a year. We provide cross-cultural orientation and on-going training to maximize the the lasting benefit of these relationships.
