Mission Statement

Kids Voting Dade County, Inc. (KDVC) is a private, non-partisan, grassroots non-profit organization dedicated to creating a more informed generation of voters and young leaders. The mission of the national Kids Voting USA is to promote voter participation and to educate students about the voting process and the needs of the community.

Description

The core program begins with teachers incorporating the hands on curriculum in the classrooms and culminates on the the various activities designed to increase the students awareness of important issues affecting their communities. Our grade specific curriculum k-12 teach students important life skils needed to make informed decisions and take responsible actions' enhancing critical thinking, problem solving and effective decision making skils.
