Mission Statement

To be a local presence in San Diego County, where we can make a difference in the brain tumor community as we support patients and their families.

Description

The San Diego Brain Tumor Foundation (SDBTF) is here to Support the Needs of Patients and their Families. We make a difference in the San Diego Community by helping patients and their families cope with having a brain tumor.

We hold monthly support groups where patients and their families can share their concerns, their fears and their hopes. We also provide financial assistance to those that cannot work and need help.

The San Diego Brain Tumor Foundation(SDBTF) provides a variety of services to patients, their families and friends:

  • Financial Grants to cover costs such as:
    • Financial Support for Housing
    • Medical Bills
    • Utility Bills
    • Chemo Therapy Treatment
    • Assist in Defraying Prescription Costs
  • Transportation
  • Meal Services
  • Visits to Patient and Families
  • Family Experience Program
