Mission Statement

BITTEN BY A KITTEN RESCUE is a 501c3 tax exempt orphan kitten rescue. Our mission is to help stop the horrendous overpopulation of kittens and cats in this country by spaying and neutering every kitten before it goes to a forever home, and to save kittens who would otherwise be put to sleep in area shelters.

Description

BITTEN BY A KITTEN RESCUE is a 501c3 tax exempt orphan kitten rescue. We save orphan kittens and the occasional mama cat and kittens that would otherwise be put to sleep in area shelters. We also accept litters from private homes if we have the room, and if we can make sure the mama gets spayed. We raise our kittens underfoot, not in cages, and treat them with love and attention to become affectionate, well-adjusted house cats.

BBAK kittens are always spayed or neutered so that they will never contribute to the horrendous overpopulation of cats and kittens in this country. All kittens are also treated for fleas with Revolution or Advantage, wormed at least once, have had their first FVRCP vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and they are vet-checked as healthy.
