Job Title: Social Media Director (Volunteer) Organization: Cancer Response Team (CRT) Location: Remote Time Commitment: 1-2 hours per week, depending on the season. About CRT: Every family with a child battling cancer deserves to be able to seek integrative and complementary cancer therapies. Cancer Response Team, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children get supportive cancer care. We do so by providing their families with financial assistance for integrative and complementary cancer therapies from the time of diagnosis up to six months post-treatment. We exist to support families who choose to pursue a truly integrative approach to cancer treatment-one that combines the best that conventional medicine and natural medicine have to offer. An evidence-based integrative approach to cancer has the potential to reduce side effects and improve effectiveness, ultimately enhancing both the quality of life and prognosis. Unfortunately, some complementary therapies and treatments are not covered by traditional insurance policies. Cancer Response Team Benefits the Following: Children who have been diagnosed with cancer and are in need of financial support associated with their treatment plans, such as (but not limited to): naturopathic visits, supplements, IV-nutrition, oncology massage, child life services, chiropractic care, nutritional counseling, and travel expenses. Job Description: Cancer Response Team (CRT) is actively seeking a passionate and innovative individual to serve as our Social Media Director (Volunteer). In this crucial role, you will work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer to develop and implement a dynamic social media strategy that seamlessly integrates with CRT's overarching marketing objectives. The primary goal is to significantly boost CRT's social media presence and effectively communicate our mission to a wider audience, including potential donors and families seeking support. Key Responsibilities: - Devise and execute a comprehensive social media marketing strategy in alignment with CRT's mission and core values. - Collaborate with the Chief Marketing Officer to ensure seamless integration of social media initiatives into the broader marketing strategy. - Generate compelling and informative social media content to enhance awareness of CRT's mission, initiatives, and impact. - Develop creative and engaging posts across various platforms to captivate and resonate with our target audience. - Optimize social media content for maximum audience engagement and reach. - Monitor and promptly respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on CRT's social media platforms to foster a positive and interactive community. - Work closely with the CMO to align social media efforts with ongoing and upcoming marketing campaigns. - Provide insights and recommendations to enhance the overall effectiveness of CRT's marketing initiatives. - Ensure regular and frequent posting on all relevant social media channels, with a target of at least 2 posts per week. - Implement a posting schedule that maximizes visibility and engagement across diverse platforms.
