Mission Statement

Our Mission To develop an integrative approach that brings partners together to form networks of support that focus on the needs of students within their urban context as an after school discipleship community. We believe everyone deserves a chance to be seen, to be loved, to be discipled, to have voice and to be hopeful about their futures. Our Vision To be partners of God in the life-giving and life-changing transformation of communities through discipleship, art and holistic health.

Our integrative approach focuses on meeting the needs of students within their urban context. We’ve formed a discipleship community with children and youth who have been overlooked, and are considered the invisible ones. We bring partners together to form a network of support. We serve alongside our students and their families; not over them. We invite you to be a part of the New Life Students to Scholars Center family.

There are few ways to make such an impact than tutoring in English Avenue! The program at the Say Yes Center is very organized and professionally run. The director and her team are committed to academic improvement and personal development, so the kids come ready for help with their homework - they are precious!
