Mission Statement

The USA Stars’ Mission shall be to provide the opportunity for boys and girls to participate in a nationally competitive cheerleading sports organization. This program will be open to all youths, including those with special needs, who have the desire and time to belong to such an organization. Through commitment and teamwork, benefits derived from participating in the USA Stars will assist members in the development of physical and social skills including respect for teammates and other competitors, health and nutrition education, acquiring the ability to communicate effectively, leadership skills, building strength through physical conditioning, and learning to both win and lose with compassion and grace.

Description

USA Stars is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation and a participating member of the USASF in Carlisle, PA that provides participants with the training and venues to compete as an all-star cheerleader or dancer. Girls and boys ages 8 through 18 work together and learn to stunt, cheer, jump, dance, and tumble in elaborately choreographed routines, to music specifically customized to fit the performance. The routines are only 2 minutes and 30 seconds long, but are packed with high energy movement and a variety of difficult stunts, tumbling, and dance steps that dazzle the spectators! Complicated pyramids, breathtaking basket tosses, and tightly timed transitions become routine for every cheerleader or dancer who becomes a USA Star!
