Mission Statement
Our Mission is to educate, perform outreach and stimulate all citizens to better understand the history of the Conejo Valley and how it relates to the history of the southern California area. Our collections include over 9,000 years of evidence of human history and we encourage everyone to become involved in our research and learning process!
Description
We are a Historical Museum complex of over 5 acres with a main building that was once an 1800 Stagecoach Hotel, a Pioneer Home, a Spanish adobe and a Chumash Ap as well as other ancillary locations. We have gorgeous nature trails in our complex and we are literally next to the Santa Monica Mountains. Our exhibits are one of a kind, and our Docents have fun working with our visitors.
