Lambda Legal is a national organization committed to achieving full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people and those with HIV/AIDS, through impact litigation, education and public policy work. Founded in 1973, Lambda is not-for-profit and tax-exempt.

Lambda works in a variety of areas, including constitutional law, employment, public accommodations, equal marriage and workplace rights, the military, parenting and relationship issues, domestic partner benefits, sodomy law challenges, immigration, access to health care, anti-gay referenda and HIV/AIDS-related discrimination.Offices in New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas and Los Angeles.
