African Leaders Council Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation purposed to address, showcase, educate, coordinate, provide access to resources and direction for African US citizens and residents on a local and state level.
Our vision is a local community where African US Citizens and Residents actively participate in Civic growth and development, Cultural awareness and Sustainable capacity building.
Our Mission which we call our 3 Pillars, is to:
- Bring Visibility to African Citizens and Residents
- Build Civic Leaders in various professions
- Foster Civic Representation
What We Do
We provide education by giving training, presentations and discussions in town-halls, schools and other avenues as well as utilizing social media channels and the corporation’s website to provide facts, statistics, and other related data on our mission, current efforts and solutions to build civic growth and development, cultural awareness and sustainable capacity in our local Florida communities.
Our programs include organizing activities and sending out trained leaders as well as ambassadors to raise social consciousness about cultural and diversity awareness, civic involvement and community outreach on a local, state and national level, and to hold fundraising activities in order to sustain these programs.
To maximize our impact on current efforts, we may seek to collaborate with other non-profit organizations.
