Description

Cityteam is a nondenominational Christian nonprofit compassionately serving the poor, the homeless, and the lost in San Jose, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Oakland, Portland, and around the world.

Cityteam San Francisco is located in the heart of the Tenderloin, and is one of the only shelters, feeding and recovery programs south of Market. Volunteers and donors often tell me that they didn’t realize how much Cityteam does to help homeless people on the streets, the elderly that live in SROs and those suffering from addiction.

Yes, San Francisco’s homeless crisis and lack of affordable housing is at an all-time high, but we have a BIG God and nothing is impossible with Him. We have been blessed to witness countless lives changed. We are grateful to local partners, donors and volunteers that have a heart for serving those in need with dignity and grace.

I would recomemd this organization because people should give something back to a community. This could also make a difference in the world and by letting others know about this organization they can make the same difference and give back to the community.
