Hair We Share receives donated ponytails daily and is currently housing over 30,000. We need to sort them by color, length and texture to place in ziplock bags and get ready to be made into wigs that we offer free of charge to children and adults who struggle with medical hair loss. These wig packets are logged into the computer data base along with names of the individual donors of the hair.

Volunteers needed for social media writing and grant applications. Help Hair We Share raise the money necessary to create the wigs we give away free. Call donors from our data base to appeal for sponsorships both corporate and individual. Fill out grant forms for Fundraising events such as Airlines and other branded corportations.

Hair We Share is looking for individuals with knowledge of Microsoft Excel who are over the age of 18. We need people to open the ponytail donations and log them into the database and then send follow up emails. We receive between 50 and 75 ponytail donations each day and they need to be logged in and synced with the ponytail donation form that is submitted on line! Look forward to working with you!

Hair We Share is looking for several volunteers to help with all aspects of creating fundraisers: 1) Pop Up Event planning including theme ideas and details 2) People able to collect raffle baskets from local merchants and or silent auction items for events 3) Individuals willing to collect items for swag bags. 3) People to help coordinate logistics. 4) Individuals willing to help with marketing and public relations. Looking for self motivated team players who have a passion for our mission to help maintain the dignity, confidence and self esteem of those affected by medical hair loss

Hair We Share is looking for volunteers who are willing to work on our website and make page edits and changes to the links. If you are a college individual who is studying web design or IT work you would be perfect for our cause. Hair We Share creates wigs for children and adults who struggle with medical hair loss and we do this with ponytails that are donated to us from all over the world. We need to keep our website up and running at all times and keep our donation links updated. Great environment to work in and great non profit experience. What can you bring to the table?

Hair We Share is a 501c3 that uses donated ponytails and financial contributions to create wigs for children and adults struggling with medical hair loss. We offer these wigs free of charge. Each ponytail cost Hair We Share $150 to process and it takes 6-9 ponytails to create the wigs.
