Gilda's Club Evansville

Gilda's Club of Evansville is staffed by some of the most amazing and passionate people I've ever met. They go above and beyond to make sure no one with cancer faces 'it' alone. They are there for the diagnosed and the family and they reach out to make sure they know they are supported by people who have been in their shoes. My favorite events to volunteer for are the events for the children. These kids have seen more than most and Gilda's Club lets them know they are supported and loved and not alone. And most importantly, lets kids be kids even if it is just for a few hours. All of their services are FREE and they have a lot of different activities that you can volunteer for - many dates, times and locations. Contact Angie and she will get you set up. They are excellent at working around your schedule and their facility is top notch.
