We are looking for Research Assistants to assist us with an information gathering project that may take about 2-3 months. Responsibilities will be to research and help us create world history lesson plans online, may need to make phone calls to get accurate information. The information data gathered with be stored in the Google Workspace. This requires someone dependable, detail oriented, who takes pride in accuracy, with good English writing skills, and proficiency with using the Google Workspace. Ideally you could be a student completing a degree program or someone who has completed a degree program and looking for a full time position, etc. We welcome students requiring CPT/OPT hours, please let us know this during your first contact with us. If that sounds like you and can volunteer based on scheduled hours we would love to hear from you! We require a minimum of 10 scheduled hours per week. WoMen of Connections Ministry has a remote volunteer opportunity for anyone that is willing and able to use their research, teaching and/or educational skills. The ideal candidate will help us with creating a World History lesson plan. The volunteer will learn about countries around the world. They will be able to generate information for all the continents of the world that will be used for the K3 -12th grade level lesson plan. This will be part of the Mentoring and Reading Program that we offer. Remote volunteers will be expected to complete their hours with the WoMen of Connections work time within Eastern Standard time 8:00 am - 7:00 pm, Monday -Friday. Responsibilities include supporting staff with documentation of records, creating community outreach resource spreadsheets. We are a small Ministry and we are seeking Web Designer/Developers who are proficient in using WordPress to build websites. If you have a background in using WordPress, we would love to hear from you. Right now we can only use those with direct expertise in Word Press. We require a minimum of 10 hours a week and this is a fully remote position. We would be pleased to help students complete their internship in web development as well.
