Description
Afrikind International Foundation (Afrikind) is a small volunteer based US international charity committed to ending poverty and creating a sustainable world. Afrikind focuses on projects and programs that create multiplier effects and impacts through participatory and feedback processes in target needy communities around the world. Founded in 2012, Afrikind has served more that 3000 individuals in Nigeria and Haiti by expanding access to healthcare and life-saving medications in rural areas. Afrikind is currently engaged in providing sustainable grain storage facilities to rural women farmer in Eastern Nigeria and increasing maize production, increase economic and employment opportunities, and increase food security for the rural population. At the same time, Afrikind is currently, the fiscal sponsor of a special higher education project (Africa Universities Fund, USA), a zero corruption tax-deductible platform that raises funds for improving a skills-based teaching and learning environments in Africa public universities.
Afrikind has won two international awards from two international communities where it operates (Nigeria and Haiti) It also serves as a fiscal sponsor for an organization in Zambia.
