Our Mission: To instill in visitors respect and appreciation for environmental stewardship through inspiring the public with artistic botanical creations. The Gardens promote peace, humane education, animal rescue, and environmental preservation.
The incredible vision of Dr. Ray Webber and many years of dedicated labor have resulted in the establishment of a 20 acre botanical garden. Cedar Lakes Woods and Gardens is a 20-acre redevelopment of a 100-year-old abandoned limestone quarry. The botanical garden has taken 25 years to create. Now the garden consists of cascading waterfalls; over 50 separate gardens; countless breathtaking views, and 5 acres of ponds that are home to koi fish, turtles, swans, aquatic plants, and many fresh water fish. The botanical garden is surrounded by 54 acres of woodlands protected by the Conservation Trust of Florida. This conservation easement is full of nature trails and native wildlife, all for guests to enjoy.
