We have so many opportunities for you to share yourself with others. Our patients and their families love to see our volunteers. We have opportunities ranging from sitting with patients, to running errands for a family member, music therapy, playing games, reading to patients and visiting with them. We also have administrative opportunities in our office, answering phones, filing. We have special projects, art, making decorations etc. Bingo, puzzles, ice cream socials are some of the favorite activities in the facilities we serve. Our patients would love their hair done and/or manicures. We are giving back to those who have given so much to us. We have many Veterans on service who would love a visit from a fellow veteran. Bring your talents to our office. We are looking for volunteers to seasonal decorate patients rooms, make door wreaths, beautify the areas around us. This is very flexible, we provide all the items, just come have fun. I am challenged in this department and would love some help. We try to decorate our patient's rooms that do not have family ro help them. We love our office decorated with the Seasons and we place door wreaths on our patient's doors that are in facilities.

Alamo Hospice is looking for Certified Pet Therapist to volunteer with us in the Conroe, Montgomery, The Woodlands & Spring , Texas area. I have worked with Pet Therapy volunteers and have witnessed the joy it brings to those who live in facilities without access to pets. Is your pet certified in pet therapy. I have witnessed the dramatic change in the persona of our patients when they get a visit from our sweet pets.
