Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO)provides music, arts and cultural programs making them accessible to all with a focus on rural, disadvantaged and underserved populations. ORMACO is an all volunteer non-profit that focuses on music, arts and cultural outreach for the region, offering accessibility to everybody. The main focus is to touch the lives of underserved, disadvantaged and rural populations. Based in Medina, the organization has several components with the mission of educating and enriching people's lives. While able to bring programs anywhere in the state, to date, the organization has serviced Medina, Lorain, Stark, Wayne, Ashland and Summit Counties.
At ORMACO we work each day to ignite a spark that will enrich the life of someone in our region through an artistic or cultural experience.
From Jazz Under the Stars on Medina’s Public Square each summer; to programs in our schools, libraries and senior centers; violin and guitar classes; trips to cultural centers from Playhouse Square to NYC; and the outreach programs and public concerts which comprise our World Tour of Music series - we provide experiences that are often free or at a cost low enough to make music, arts and culture accessible to all.
