Description
Village Eulogia for Families with Special Needs (Village Eulogia) was founded by a group of Christians with different professional backgrounds and experiences in the care of children with special needs and their families. We understand that disabilities do not only affect the children, but also their parents, caregivers, and siblings.
Members of our group have been involved in their own churches to support families affected by disabilities since 2006. These support activities included parents support groups and respite program. We have also been involved in offering training to different churches to help them integrate children with special needs in their children programs. In 2008, we launched Camp Eulogia with the support of churches and individual Christians who shared our vision.
At the end of the camp in 2011, the core team felt the need to support the children with special needs and their families beyond the camp in the summer. After much prayer, the idea of Village Eulogia began to form and we were incorporated in October 2011 and became a registered charity March 6, 2012.
