Mission Statement

To support, educate, empower, and advocate for LGBT individuals and groups in the Roanoke region, and to encourage collaborative efforts with the greater community to improve the quality of life for all. The RDC will inspire and empower lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people in SW Virginia to lead full and rewarding lives. We will be a catalyst for change within and beyond our community.

Description

The RDC is an LGBT community center located in Roanoke,VA. It serves the Roanoke region and is located within MCC Blue Ridge in Roanoke. It first opened its doors Feb 22, 2013.
Open Hours: Wed. thru Sat. 4:00 pm -7:00 pm
Sun. there are no Open Hours but from 6:30-9:00 pm. there are FREE films in the RDC Rainbow Cinema.
Also, we have over 320 events per year, just about all of them FREE!!
