Mission Statement

Music & Memory is a program of JFS of York. Established in 1988, JFS of York is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization that serves the York community, regardless of faith, creating a community where every individual and family is on a path to self-sufficiency, ages with dignity, and is socially connected.

Description

Music & Memory improves quality of life for older adults by providing personalized music using digital technology. The program reaches those struggling with Alzheimer's, Dementia, and other cognitive and physical challenges by connecting them with the world around them through music-triggered memories. Volunteers will create playlists, instruct clients, maintain music library.
