CAM Relay for Life

Description

CAM Relay is the local American Cancer Society's signature event that raises funds for cancer research and education, covering the Cary, Apex, and Morrisville, NC communities. The event symbollically represents the 24 hour day of a cancer patient. Teams are formed to gain pledges for keeping a team member walking on a track during the entire event. During the event there are moving ceremonies honoring cancer survivors, activities for all ages, entertainment, and information about cancer. "It's about a community taking up the fight"; the fight against cancer.
