Description
Refugees Welfare Association (REWAC) Cameroon is a small indigenous non-governmental organization registered under Cameroon law in March 2009. It is dedicated to actions, activities, projects and programmes that defend the rights of refugees, asylum seekers and forcibly displaced persons. The organization was started in Tiko, Cameroon by a group of legal minds concerned about the consistent and systematic violation of the rights of refugees, asylum seekers and forcibly displaced persons. REWAC’S Mission Statement: Rebuilding Refugees lives for a Brighter Future. REWAC’S Vision: To bring about the autonomy and sustainable livelihood of Refugees.

It is a very receptive organization. REWAC made sure I was regularly informed about expectations and tasks; kept me updated and made me feel appreciated for the little work I did
