Mission Statement

The Renewable Energy Transition Initiative (RETI) aims to sustainably decrease the energy costs of low income families. Through general awareness programs and educational programs throughout Charlotte-Mecklenburg and surrounding areas, the organization readies children, teens, and adults for the adoption of clean energy technologies, such as the installation of solar panels in their homes.

Description

RETI both attends and host a wide variety of programs. We partner with libraries, recreation centers, churches, and clubs to educate communities and our neighbors at risk of energy insecurity on renewable energy and energy efficiency. We also provide organizational outreach encompassing lunch and learns, trainings, and consulting. Lastly, RETI plans community empowerment events, including an upcoming Community Sustainabilty Festival.
