Mission Statement

Sweet Virginia Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 educational organization. Sweet Virginia is on a mission to create a healthier, happier planet. We teach kids about honey bees and share the joy of sunflowers.

Description

Sweet Virginia educators have taught over 10K elementary school students with our in-class program. In late 2016, we launched Hive Alive!Digital to share the wonder of honey bees with children around the world through our global on-line forum.

Since launching our Community Flowers program we have delivered over 100K flowers. They have made a lot of people happy. When the bees have had their fill, our Community Flowers program volunteers harvest the flowers and deliver them to folks in nursing facilities, hospitals, and hospice.
