Golden Retriever Rescue of North Texas, Inc. is a non-profit, all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of neglected or unwanted Golden Retrievers. We foster Goldens in homes whenever possible. The dogs are checked for heart worms and other diseases, given vaccinations, spayed or neutered if necessary, and accustomed to living in a loving home. People interested in adopting a Golden must fill out an application and meet certain requirements. For example, adopted dogs must be kept inside in a home with a fence and kept on heart worm prevention medication.
