Description
Established in 2016, Entertaining Heart’s goal is to bridge the gaps that are preventing these youth from studying and participating in the art of music. Two of our many goals is to deliver access to the benefits of instruments and high quality music education to children in communities that provide limited sources or none in their school curriculum. We strongly believe that participating and being involved in music increases social skills, teaming, opens the imagination, increases memory, aides in mathematics, expands and learning skills. It instills confidence, self-esteem, and gives each and every one of them a sense of accomplishment, encouraging them to excel in school, the community and strive for a future college education. Music can be the path for many becoming future leaders in our communities, the nation and possibly the world.
It is through our program that we create a foundation of responsibility and purpose by making instruments, equipment and lessons available to these youth. In addition, educational classes and clinics will be presented throughout the year to the youth targeting Drug and Alcohol Abuse, The History of R&B Music, Applying for College Grants/Financing, Preparing for Job Interviews and The Business of Music.
