Special Homes believes that developmental disabilities do not detract from the value that individuals hold. With assistance, people who have disabilities can fulfill their potential, become as self-sufficient as possible, and participate in the community around them. For this reason, Special Homes dedicates its efforts to supporting people with disabilities in achieving their goals.

Description

Incorporated in 1986, Special Homes of New Jersey, Inc. was created to develop two group homes for intellectually disabled people who were living in a nursing home set for closure. Today, the company continues to serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Morris, Bergen, Somerset and Warren Counties.
